Holiday marketing tip of the week 🎄
This is my last tip in the Holiday Marketing Tips for Creators series, and it's focused on what your last message of the year can be, targeted at your customers.
First things first, think of the timing.
People are relaxing between family gatherings and festivities now, scrolling through social media or checking their inbox. Sending just one thoughtful email or sharing a social media post between the two holidays keeps you top-of-mind and reminds your audience that you’ll be there for them in the new year.
What to share with your customers between the holidays?
This really depends on you, but here are some ideas that you can mix, too:
- Announce a January sale of leftover products from the year. This clears your studio, generates cash, and gives customers a chance to grab discounts.
- Do a poll about new collections or ideas for next year. Ask your audience which themes or products they’d love to see.
- Share a personal touch or story about how your holidays went, with a fun behind-the-scenes moment, or a highlight from your business year. It makes your brand relatable and memorable.
- Express gratitude for their support over the past year and let them know you’re excited about what’s coming next.
